2025 Avout Racing Selects

We are currently accepting applications for the 2025 Selects.    

The deadline for applying is November 15th. 

If you think you have what it takes, we would like you to apply! 

The Avout Racing Selects is a small group of passionate, competitive athletes aged fifteen to U23. Our mission is to set up our Selects athletes for the highest level of amateur competition and, ultimately, professional cycling once they leave the amateur ranks. We have crafted a program that includes full-service race support, individual training programs, building nutrition, psychological, and tactical knowledge of the sport, and racing as often as possible.  The athletes selected for this program will be great representatives for cycling, including involvement in local cycling, volunteering in their local communities, and maintaining a high-grade point average in school. 

The Avout Racing Selects Gravel program is new for 2025. In addition to continuing our MTB and CX programs, we will ride and race at 4 to 5 gravel races across the country, including Unbound, STB GRVL, and USAC Gravel Nationals.    

You can apply for an individual program or a program combining 2 or 3 disciplines.  

Also new for 2025 is the full-support and race-support programs.  Full-support athletes receives full support once they arrive at a race venue.  That includes housing, meals, and transportation in addition to all the usual race support available at the "Oasis" which includes shade, seats, food and drink, trainers, mechanic, bike wash, and race start and handup support.  Race-support athletes receive all the usual race support noted here but will be responsible for their own housing, meals, and transportation.

The Selects application process will be just that – selective.  We want to assemble a strong group of juniors ready to take on the local and national stage.  Do you have what it takes?  Apply HERE.

Selects Program Offerings for 2025:

Each Program – MTB, Gravel, and CX 

• Two free race-level kits 
• Additional team gear  
• Sponsor support – discounts and free product 
• Strength and Conditioning sessions twice per week for ten weeks, January – March 
• Team building activities 
• Virtual meetings and training on nutrition, mental training, race tactics, etc. 
• Spring Camp in Moab, TBD – possibly: March 19-23 
• Full travel race support (including bike transport, housing, and food for full-support athletes) 
• Local race support at key local races 
• Individualized training plans at a discounted rate from Avout Racing coaches or bring your coach 

MTB Program

• Winter MTB mini-camp/clinic 
• Spring Camp in Moab, TBD – possibly: March 19-23 
• Access to twice-per-week MTB practices, April – USAC MTB Nationals 
• Full travel race support (including bike transport, housing, and food for full-support athletes)
  • US Open Fayetteville 
  • Soldier Hollow 
  • Englewood Open 
  • Missoula XCT 
  • USAC MTB Nationals 

• Spring Camp in Moab, TBD – possibly: March 19-23 
• Summer mini-camp/clinic
